What does the future of Wayne County look like? We’re not certain. If the past year has taught us anything, it’s that things can change in a moment’s notice. The Wayne County Community Foundation participates actively in the Wayne Tomorrow! Initiative and in 2019, we established a Wayne Tomorrow! Fund at the foundation to be able to accept charitable donations to support Wayne Tomorrow! activities and to be a fiscal agent for future grant applications. The Wayne Tomorrow! Initiative engages our community in a powerful, collaborative network that strives to cultivate a vibrant future by working together toward a shared vision of prosperity and opportunity for everyone.
Wayne Tomorrow is a broad, county-sponsored, community-based collaboration focused on the projects, resources, and infrastructure needed to move Wayne County, its people, its culture. and its economy into a vibrant future. It's not an entity, it's a partnership and a way of operating. This type of collaboration takes a commitment to the common goals and a willingness to focus on "we" not "me"!
