For over 30 years, the Wayne County Community Foundation has been working to connect donors like you with causes and nonprofits that they care about. Every day we work to address the needs of communities across Wayne County. Because of you, last fiscal year the Wayne County Community Foundation was able to:
• Provide over $1,000,000 in grant funding across the funds we manage to charitable causes
• Manage 150+ charitable funds doing incredible work in our communities
• Provide 3 micro revolving loans to entrepreneurs through the NEPA Aunts and Uncles Fund
• Establish a Worker Crisis Fund and provide to 5 individuals to address barriers to employment
• Partner with other regional foundations to host NEPA Gives, the region’s largest annual giving day
• Hire a community grant writer for Wayne and Pike Counties thanks to the generous grant support from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation.
• Actively participate in the Wayne Tomorrow! Initiative
• Establish a Founders Fund to address critical and emergency needs
• Provide a matching grant from the Florence Longmire Treat Fund for the Wayne County Arts Alliance to be able to purchase a building to call home
And support many more exciting projects and causes in Wayne County.
